About Us

Kelab Angklung SMK Taman Sri Muda

At first, this club only used the name of Angklung Club but due to the club's involvement starting to leave the school, this club added SMK Taman Sri Muda behind it. However, after receiving a performance offer in the Selamat Pagi Malaysia TV1 RTM segment, the coach gave permission to the club to use 'Wariseni'. So once again the name of the club has changed until today, namely ANGKLUNG WARISENI CLUB SMK TAMAN SRI MUDA.

Kelab Angklung Wariseni History
Angklung Wariseni Club is a school, Taman Sri Muda National Secondary School and was established on 11 October 2010 by Puan Norazlena Binti Lazim. In each performance the club uses the skills of 10 to 20 members at a time and plays 'evergreen', modern and up-to-date songs of various genres according to the tastes of the listeners. Club members undergo training twice a week on Thursdays and Saturdays. But if they are invited to perform outside the school, the club members will practice for three days in a row to strengthen the performance. New club members are given intensive training every day to be able to play well with senior members.
